my recall has been off the roof (for my standards) lately, with one or two dreams per morning.
Tho i dream the strangest things, i always just flow with it and fail to recognize im dreaming.
Your recall will be back, i notice some sort of cyclic pattern.
Have you been keeping a dream journal? _________________
...Life's but a dream!
|

Sure thing. Quite strictly, actually.
My recall kinda downgraded over the last week. It went from two dreams to one each other night, to one and not any since. ><
As for the LD thingey, just keep on going |

Ugh, I know the feeling. I can remember multiple dreams in the morning that were ridiculous, yet I never realize in the dream itself. SO frustrating. |

You'll get there. Do MILD and reality checks and I'm sure you'll get there _________________ Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. |

Your first lucid dream isn't usually the best, because you don't have any experience at that moment. As you progress and have more lucid dreams (you know you can have them!), they'll get better! _________________ Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. |

This thread is good for all. Sticky this and meanwhile just motivate me.! One part of my brain wants to have more lds and dream recalls, the other part just tells me to roll to oneside and sleep, because i have to go and work in the morning. |

What are your goals in lucid dreaming? Focus on having those experiences and using dream recall and lucid dreaming as way to actually get them. _________________ Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. |

Every time you notice you haven't been aware for a while, you are potentially in a dream! You could be just a step away from a lucid dream where you can do ANYTHING and everything you want. That step is doing a reality check. _________________ I shall forever remain mortal |

| Last summer I had a bunch of badass lucid dreams but then fell out of my training. I've gotten back into journaling in the last month in a half. Only 2 luicid dreams in that time, both in the same day and both rather spontaneous. Today I downloaded tim post's MP3 course and listened to about half of it. I can feel that excitement in my solar plexus right now. I see where i have been deviating from the matrix and i intend to get myself back into the sucka. please wish me luck |

Good luck, tblanco! Hold on to that excitement. It might sound silly, but consider writing down your motivations for lucid dreaming. Even though they might appear obvious, writing them down makes them more concrete. Afterwards you can remind yourself of them every day and not lose track of your goals.
Personally I haven't had much time for lucid dreaming and related research / activities. I'm just way too tired at the end of the day. I've dropped my "shared dreaming" research project for now and I consider myself lucky if I can browse through these and other forums now and then.
So I have to rely on the occasional DILD (like this morning) instead of WILDs / MILDs for my lucid dream experience, but even then I often forget about them because I don't have time or the energy to write them down or record them - which is a shame.
Anyway, I've begun to listen to audio courses / podcasts about time management and the like while I fitness and travel. Hopefully I'll find some ways to manage my time better. Maybe consider writing shorter forum posts. |
