|
|
It's finally proven that gamers are better to understand that they are indeed dreaming. A danish article: http://www.videnskab.dk/content/dk/kultur/computerspillere_lemlaster_deres_egne_mareridt shows that gamers have far more lucid dreams, because they're already used to be in a virtual world.
It also shows that gamers are less aggresive in their dreams, until they encounter nightmares. At that point, they usually won't escape, but fight which often results in a bloodbath. You can use google translate for the above link. _________________ Im a dreamer, too |

I know plenty of people that plays games 24/7 and non of them have ever had lucid dreams, and the majority have extremly bad dream recall, so I don't really believe that gaming really invokes lucid dreaming, rather it inspires people who're already experienced with lucid dreaming.
My two cents on the subject. |

I think the fact that their bad recall is a part of the problem _________________ Im a dreamer, too |

Well.. you still have to sleep to have lucid dreams Could it be that this sleep deprivation is causing this lack of lucid dreaming or regular dreaming? |

I've read English articles about it as well. The thing is that gamers live in two different worlds, the fake and the real one. Because they spend so much time in the fake one, they are familiar with what makes something fake. Also they tend to fight back in nightmares in stead of running away, which makes them realize they're dreaming. _________________ I shall forever remain mortal |
