I don't mean to sound like a skeptic but is it really true that while lucid, things seem as clear and vivid as real life or are people just exaggerating. So far myself, i have only had two lucid dreams but they were quite blurry, i could control my dream and i even flew in both, but i don't remember them being as clear as real life, maybe this was because i didn't rub my hands or spin around. I would appreciate some feedback. Thnx

Once you get a properly stabilized lucid dream, yes, it is. You'll have to keep it stable by rubbing hands and the like, though.

My first lucid dreams were pretty bad too, but the later ones were really realistic and nice. Try during waking life to just look around and notice the things you never think about before. Like the smell, tastes, what you feel, etc and maybe they will be even more life like in dreams.

All the dreams are actually really clear. The only problem is that we're not entirely aware when they happen, so we recall them like distant blurry memories. I realized this once when I was in a dream. I started hovering, and I wondered wether or not I was in a dream. I looked around myself but I thought, no, it looks much too real to be a dream. When I awoke, I remembered the dream as being blurry like any other dream.

yes, a well stablized dream, + efforts to increase vividsness, are more real than real life, it is almost like you have more rod and cone cells in youreyes.

regular life = old tube tv
lucid = 1080p blueray 70'' 3d!

but i only had that happen 1nce, all the rest were unbearably short and dark, i felt like i was drunk, and blurry, poor clarity.

aww, too bad,

its lke my dreams end in spite.

i fight them, i try and stay in, sometimes if i dont fight, they just go black, i am still in my dream, but all is black and i am floating in empty blackness,

and nothing happens, if i lose lucidity, the dream resumes. usually i do.

Im really getting frustrated its been almost a month now since my last of two lucid dreams, and i havent had any LD's that were as clear as real life or in which i was thinking like i do in waking life, in both of them i wasnt really thinking straight, but yet i was still conscious; its weird

Yea don't worry it just takes time. My past lucid dream was as vivid as real life, I thought to do a stabilizing technique, but then I said what more do I need?

Even so, even if they really do become as vivid as real life, when we wake to remember them, it's just as if it's a memory. Remember something right now. Your memory wasn't as vivid as real life also, making it seem blurry.

In the dreams we can feel how real it was, but then trying to get the same feeling wo t happen unless your lucid again because our memories aren't real life either o.o

I know but when you are dreaming and you are lucid, when you are in the NOW does it not feel like the NOW im in right now. (a bit confusing Smile)
