I developed a small application as a lucid dreaming aid. As you know, you need to keep a dream journal to avoid forgetting your dreams as soon as you wake up. But, when you’re tired, it’s a hassle to turn on the light, find the pen, and write the journal. A laptop is no better, all that bright light makes it hard to go back to sleep. With this application you just hold down the space bar and talk into the microphone. When you’re done, release space bar. An MP3 file is created in the “entries” folder, containing your verbal description of the dream. Every time space is pressed, a new file is created. Just leave the laptop near your bed with a microphone plugged in and you’re good to go.
