|
|
| A young engineering student at Cornell, Brian Schiffer, has created software and a website that is the beginning of a social dream network: http://www.sleepstreamonline.com . While still in an experimental stage, the website is employing the Zeo headband/device and streaming live sleep data from multiple users and recording brain waves, sleep stages, eye movements and REM detection. A dream share feature will allow multiple dreamers to join a dream session, and when the website software determines that the enrollees are all in REM, simultaneous audio (and/or visual) lucid cues will be transmitted to the local computers of the dreamers for shared dreaming experiments. Brian also is looking down the line at dream-to-dream communication where lucid dreamers can send signals to each other via deliberate eye movements in their dreams. To paraphrase Arthur in Inception: “There will be nothing quite like it.” [/url] |

So you have to wear electronic headbands for branewave recording and it shares it with other users. Other than serious scientists I dont really think there is much use with uploading these scans to an online storage. It wouldnt pan out as a social site either. Again because the premise does not apply to everyone. Only the people interested in those types of recordings and lucid dreaming are going to take that site seriously. _________________ Open your eyes... and dream! |
