this may seem silly, but i rely very deeply on external sources to augment my imagination.

seriously, sometimes i become lucid and cant imagine something to do... really im like uhh so what now?

the problem is i have ZERO imagination, i simply cant make things up.

so i need things like movies and books and games to give me purpose.

this post isnt asking for 1000000 things to do in a lucid dream, it is asking you all to name anything that gives you inspiration to repeat in a lucid dream.
titles wanted, books, movies, games, historical events, stories, anythingc with some sort of plot.

i wont be offended if nobody reolies to this, but it would help

thanks

Well the reason i want to lucid dream is to rehearse things for the waking world. See, i like to do parkour and martial arts, but i cant do any back flips or flashy moves like that. I know there not necessary but i would like to be able to do them in the waking world, since i have done them before in my dream and felt brand new.

Basically my inspiration is to get a lead on the waking world and train my skills of body and fighting. Free-running and martial arts are what i want to train once i can lucid dream often enough. But that's just me :]

I've wanted to fly on one of those dragons from Avatar. Almost succeeded once, I made one appear but it flew off into the sky. One of my main goals is fly/teleport to Mars and talk to Dr Manhattan (from the Watchmen comic) about the workings of the universe/mind.

I was in the last stage of a WILD where there are dream scenes emerging but you haven't yet entered them. When the first scene appeared I changed it to lesbian swimsuit models on a beach just by imagining it. I tried to enter the scene but I ended up making some guy similar to me appear in it who got all the action. Then I remembered I wanted to fly on one of those dragons. The plan was to make it appear in the scene and stay on the ground until I entered the scene and could fly on it. But when I imagined it, it appeared in the scene and flew into the sky. Next the scene changed automatically to an overhead view of mountain tops (maybe Pandora) and music from Avatar was playing. I eventually entered the scene but the overhead view of mountaintops was now playing on my iPhone and I was in my bedroom.

They were steady and active. Other times it can be steady and static, more like pictures. The scenes usually occur after hypnagogic imagery.

I'm just doing it for the fun of it really. I haven't got far enough into my lucid dreaming to take much control yet, but I picture myself as a hired gun.

One day I could be working with the mafia, and the next I could be doing detective work in Brooklyn or Chicago.

Might even try to make a partner to help me out too.

Idk, just something that keeps me motivated. Very Happy

to begin with, I wanted to go Super Saiyan. I managed that in the end, first in non lucids and eventually lucids. I managed to get up to Super Saiyan 3 once as well. My inspiration mainly comes from DBZ- flying, causing huge explosions, killing loads of people and generally wreaking havoc with super powers.

avatar has been a big factor as well, and going to pandora has been a long term target. I tried flying through space but it was too far; i then spent ages learning and mastering teleportation. Last time I was lucid i managed to teleport into site 26 in the hallelujah mountains, and met grace. I still havent got out into the jungles though, which is what i really wanted to do.
