Does anyone have links or favorite resources about visualization techniques for day/daydreaming practice?

Visualise two things.
First visualise a tree. Now if I just said a tree it wouldn't be much of a visualisation so you've got to make it detailed. So, instead of just a tree, visualise a large oak tree, with a thick, old trunk and thousands of branches and splits. It has yellow leaves because it's autumn. Visualise the clear blue sky behind it and the few cumulonimbus clouds behind it, showing you that a storm is on its way.
See the green, lush grass. Now notice how the yellow leaves sway in the warm, early autumn breeze, like the leaves are doing the mexican wave.
(from this just build up into whatever you want)
(BTW THE Cumulonimbus clouds are the fluffy ones in case you didn't know lol. Stratus = low and blanket, cirrus= high, wispy, small, ice particles)
Now for no.2. SIMPLE. Tiger face. Detail the stripes, eyes, ears, fur colours, where everything should be yadayadayada
Hope it helped.

The best visualizations are ones that are fun, detailed and calming. My favorite is leave blowing int he wind. I wrote an article (http://www.rememberawake.com/node/9) about why visualization is so useful; if you find visualizations that fit those guidelines, you will definitely have some really good ideas. Also, Tibetan dream yogis used flowers for going to sleep, pictured to be in your throat or on another chakra.
