Hey guys, this was a dream that was very powerful to me. I"m still trying to figure out the meaning and significance. I have no reference point to compare what happened. I have never had a dream of this magnitude before. There are no words to fully describe what I experienced and my feeble attempt to describe the undescribable does not do this experience justice. What do you think? Has anyone else experienced anything similar? The actual dream is much longer than this but this part is the good part and was at the end.
I was having a very powerful lucid dream where I totally surrendered and let the dream take me where ever. Usually I fly in these dreams under my own power but there was an "invisible force" moving me along from one place to another. I remember flying upside down and down through floors until I came to the following location. This part was purely symbolic of something but I found myself in a brightly lit apartment. There was this young man there who appeared to be in his 20's. There was a glow or sparkle about him as if he were made of light. He was standing across the room from me. We looked each other in the eyes and I said something like "You live down here all by yourself?" He said "Yes". At that moment I felt the strongest connection, sensation of love, pure ecstacy, non-sexual purest love for anyone or anything in my life. It permeated my whole being. The experience is hard to put into words. I ran over to him and we fully embraced. I was absolutely in tears, weeping out of pure joy. The tears started flowing instantly as soon as I was in his presense. It wasn't just little tears it was full out sobbing. We were both glowing. I could feel the energy exchange between us. It was electric, strong, and pulsating. It was as if he and I merged into one. I told the guy that I loved him so much and I didn't even know his name. He said his name was AL and to call him AL. Maybe that was an abbreviation for a much longer, unpronounceable spirit name? My physical body was also feeling the tingling and vibrating sensations even when I awoke. There was a strong aching in my solar plexus chakra and I was literally tingling from head to toe. There was no sexual arousal just pure love. It had to be what spiritual love feels like between spirits. It was as if I knew him on some level, angel, twin flame, star being spirit guide, higher self. Imagine the strongest sensation of love you have ever felt for anyone or anything and magnify it by 1000 and you would get close to what I felt. If it lasted much longer I felt like it would overload my nervous system. Every nerve, every fiber was affected and I felt like I would combust. I think that's why the connection ended so abrubtly. It was absolutely wonderful. Nothing in my dream life has ever been able to come close to eliciting this level of emotion. This is by far the most powerful LD I've ever had. I'm at a loss for words. |

I have no idea what it could possibly have been, for that you might ask Robert Waggoner. But it might be very useful for the experiment. Remember this connection when you receive (that was your role, right), and maybe AL will help you!
Sorry for looking at it so emotionlessly, but I really don't know what the spiritual meaning could be... |

| I don't even know if it had a spiritual meaning. It was something totally different from any LD I've ever had. I would love to ask Robert about it. I'm hoping that if I can have this powerful of a LD that the experiment will be a success. Why the name Al though? Out of all the names in the universe to choose from, my subconscious came up with Al, LOL! |

I've experienced something similar to this. It was nothing compared to how you described it. It makes me think, how horrible would it be if dreams didn't exist. And those millions of people who don't dream are missing out on something great. Dreams are bliss. _________________ Lives will never last longer than the ever constricting idea of the power held over us. If you believe that is a lie, then you are free. |

thats truely amazing. what i think is that dreams may be more than just our minds having mini vacations, countless people each day dream and some peoples dreams have life changing results like winning lottery numbers and dreams of locations of artifacts. it might just be that dreams are ways in which are able to see things that might have been or that are going to happen, communication with the spirtual world maybe...maybe that was the ghost of a man who could have been close to you in the future but died or an ancestor which is watching over you
....or its simply a dream and all that is a bunch of bull and no need to read into it
personally id like to believe the first |

| I like to believe the first as well. I have had many LD's that were simply regular LD's. I could tell that there was nothing special about them. Just a creation of the mind. Then there are dreams like the one I just had and I really don't know what to think. I like to think that it was my higher self or some lost part of my soul reconnecting with me. I also like to think that it was my guardian spirit or guide. It was just so different from any other dream I've had. |

TracyN, I know exactly what you're talking about ! I had exactly the same experience as you, but it did not involve a being called AL.
I have felt the same bliss, ectasy, incredibly powerful feeling of love. It's almost impossible to put into words, but like you it almost felt like my chest would explode, complete body overload.
It happened during an OBE and I felt a kind of connection with a being, or a source of energy, in the universe. I received all kinds of deep and spiritual insights and they have changed me profoundly.
It took me quite some time to get over it and get re-adjusted to normal life.
Now I cherish this peak experience and it's very nice to finally read about somebody who knows what a life-changing experience this can be.
Have you never wondered that perhaps the man was not called AL, but "ALL" and that you tapped into a source of power outside our human comprehension and conceptions ? Maybe you mind transformed it into the form of a man to enable this power to establish contact with you on a human level ? |

LittleSis,
It is an awesome experience. I had to have tapped into a source of something. It is good to hear about someone else having a similar experience. It's funny that you said maybe the being's name was "All" instead of "Al" because I told a friend about this experience and she said the same thing. Maybe it was a union with my higher self, the total of everything I ever was and everything I am to become? The experience came at a time where I was feeling disconnected from the Source so maybe this was the Source's way of letting me know that the connection is still there? I have had other experiences where I felt I've met spirit guides but never with the amount of love I felt here. |

this coversation is getting to a very philosophical point , it could be that we have stumbled upoun a phenomenon that could change many things..
....take this into account one of the worlds most famous seers was named nostredamus he had visions which are still being fulfilled today he used drugs to fall asleep so he could dream more often and find himself in a vison , if a man a long time ago could see such amazing things why cant we maybe our minds our slowy becoming more intune to the spiritual (higher) world and we are able to see more just as most people are taller than they were thousands of years ago on average maybe our minds are advancing to , we seem to think that we are at the peak of evolution, hate to burst all the little bubbles you call your lives but we havent we are still evolving and by thousands of people searching there dreams and pushing our boundaries we could see some monumentous changes in the next thousand years
.....if any of you are into stargate much like the ancients acended to a higher plane of existence , well maybe not to that extent but the possibilities are limitless....
oh and in counter perspective it could also just your mind depicting what you want in life and is no reason to read into it and is time to move on |

Tracy,
Thanks for sharing that powerful lucid dream with all of us (also I would enjoy hearing about Little Sis's experience, since it also sounds very profound and illuminating).
I want to point out to the other lucid dreamers that Tracy 'surrendered' to the dream. By that, I mean that she became lucidly aware, and then consciously allowed the 'awareness behind the dream' (that's what I call it in my book) to take control and show her things. Tracy, when you surrendered to the dream, did you ask "Hey show me something important for me to see!" or did you do something else?
Often, when lucid dreamers advance to this point of letting go, they can have profound experiences in which they appear to meet deeper or wiser portions of the self (sometimes as dream figures, and other times as a light), deal with personal issues and resolve them, meet deceased relatives with messages for them, or simply gain profound insight into life (perhaps like Little Sis).
So congratulations, Tracy, on this beautiful experience!

| Thanks Robert. All I really did to surrender to the dream was let go. I think my exact words were "dream I will follow wherever you take me". That's when the dream force took over and I had my experience. In fact any time I meet a wise being or dream character it has been when I totally surrendered to the dream and asked for it to show me what I needed to see |

Hey I've just had something somewhat similar happen to me. I was having a dream and basically there was this girl that I am really attracted to and there was this guy who I sort of know and she like ran away from me to be around him and I could tell she really liked him adn i wanted her to feel that way about me...duh lol.
All of the sudden this absolutely EXTREME feeling came over me. Like ive never felt any feeling this strongly. In the dream this feeling kept on throbing but it was so intense that In the i almost felt as if I would pass out. This caused me to wake up and for a few moments this feeling stayed there until I realized and kept repeating to myself that it was only a dream.
A couple of strange things as I have been reflecting on this. One is that I can't exactly put my finger on what this feeling is. Its almost like it was extreme contentment with the thought of her wanting me with extreme anger that she liked this other guy all at once. But im still not really sure.
Secondly, like im attracted to this girl but i only know her on like a hi hows it going basis. The point is I don't really know her that well and its not like i would really be that upset if tomarrow she started dating someone. Ive had similar "crushes" on girls before so im like where did this extreme feeling come from. Maybe it is just a random anomoly i have no Idea but it was just really intense. Like I said I have never experienced any feeling like this in either the waking or dream world. thoughts? similar experiences? |

I agree 100%. It will only be a matter of time until our minds shift into a new revolution of thought. We become more intelligent every day.
I believe what you encountered Tracy was pure love. Love can make your chest explode and your body tingle. But what you must of experienced cannot be described; only felt. |
