Is it possible to lucid dream, using any of the techniques, during a daytime nap. I'm unsure because I rarely sleep during the day time.

The Lucidity Institute claims that daytime naps are prime time for lucidity.

Personally, I cannot even recall a single dream after an afternoon nap (ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour in length). In other words, I never had a lucid dream while napping in daytime.

But I still share your curiosity on this matter though. Anyone successfully induced lucid dreams during daytime naps?

I do remember some dreams after a day time nap, but no lucid ones. I don't often nap during the day but when I do, its usually when I'm sick so I end up having those vivid fever nightmares that are really scary where you wake up in a cold sweat.

I used to get ld's in the train.. but they were always a bit weird because even though you know your body is not moving, you think that you will do something weird between all those people.

Sunlight makes me lucid though.. but also makes me sleep very light which causes me to wake up fast and often.

actually, this is the only time that i have EVER had a lucid. i woke up in the middle of the day after a nap but still felt very tired so closed me eyes again. my vision was weird. i was in a car in my dream but i could still feel i was laying in my bed sleeping. i immediately realized i just went to sleep and jumped out the car door and began flying XD haha ye i'd say napping is a VERY good way to lucid. thats the only way its worked for me lol
