Hello and welcome!
Well at first my LD's felt like 3rd person gaming, only controlling what I do and viewing it from 3rd person...

But recently I had a very vivid one that felt like real life!!!

Hope to see you conscious dreaming soon!!!

sweet dreams...

Well, I like to think of it as this:
Imagine you're sitting here, in front of this computer. Everything is exactly the way it is now, the feel of you sitting, the texture of your hand on the mouse, the colours of your room. Everything.
Except... there are no rules. You know that this is an illusion and by extent, you know that there are no rules. No laws of physics. If you can overcome your own expectation of gravity, you can fly. No laws of man. You can kill someone and never be persecuted. No social laws. You can have sex with anyone you want, wherever you want and people won't look at you strangely because you're having sex with someone in the middle of a shopping mall.
In a lucid dream, there are no rules. The only thing limiting you, is you. Free your mind and open up the world, so that you may do as you wish.

Lucid dreams, well they always appeared to me as sudden realizations which can be quite jerking. Because i know i'm with in a dream, in the middle of an unreal place, most times i don't even know where i am at, obviously quite unnerving in the beginning stages. And the rush of energy as the previous poster mentioned, yes it's been always a similar feeling. If you start thinking of the possibilities in the middle of lucidity, it can be too exciting to handle. Confused So be prepared with your intentions.

Whenever I realize I am dreaming while I'm dreaming, I feel this WHOOSH as though I'm flying above ("non lucid") and suddenly entering my "dream-self." It's like all of a sudden seeing yourself from far away, to suddenly seeing the world as though you were really awake. I see everything from first person view, and the world seems brighter and more vivid. I think and feel. It feels as though I'm actually in the real world, but I know it's a dream, and I don't know how I'm going to get out of it because it feels so real.

Then, when I lose my lucidity, everything starts to fade as though I'm losing a memory.
It's weird, but that's what it feels like to me. And I love that feeling!

Even though I may be interacting and willfull it feels like permanent twilight in an empty world. Weird analogy I know....but that is the most descriptive way for my feeling to be understood.

imagen the happyest moment of your life. now times that by 15. now add the ability to do anything with no limits. that is pretty much what a lucid dream feels like.

Well there are some lucid dreams that are extremely vivid and amazing and some - mostly when your a begginer - that aren't, atleast in my case. My dreams increasingly get more and more vivid the more often I am lucid. Also in the dream world, you may get the lucid sense, which is a feeling you only get once lucid. Thats also a part of how the lucidity feels Razz

I find that sometimes it feels exactly like when you are awake but enhanced; everything brighter and more intense, although occasionally it feels so different it can be what causes you to turn a dream into a lucid one, like when i dream and have no body.

Maybe you're dreaming right now.....Reality Check!!!
