when the RC fails in a false awakening!!

hi guys,
yesterday i had this this experience: i was dreaming about a dead person and after a while i noticed that it is all a dream and at this moment the dream began to fade so i said to myself ok now i will do the spinning method( even though i lost my vision..but i imagined the sensation of doing it) and then i enter sleep paralysis..and here i said to myself ok this is your last chance to enter the dream lucidly..i will now open my eyes to enter the dream. The problem here just begins!: i open my eyes..everything was perfect, same home, same room...i said to myself this is very realistic but i am gonna do some RC's: i look into my hand, i can not determine the number of my fingers clearly but after concentrating i discover that i had 4 fingers!! so i say i must be dreaming..so i say let's try to go through the wall ..when i try to do it i fail..try to enter my hand through it also i fail..i run in the corridor and jump several times trying to fly and i fail.. so i say this not a dream!!..why did this happen to me?? how can i assure that i am dreaming after failing the RC'S (about 5 RC's)..any tips?

I'm wondering why you didn't trust the result from your first RC? Did something tell you to keep trying?

I'm only a beginner, but I would want it to be that if at least one RC fails, then I know I must be dreaming... no matter how many of them pass...?

well you are right i had to trust the RC. Actually after this experience i succeeded in turning several false awakenings into LDs by just trusting the look at my hand method
