|
|
I've been trying for roughly four weeks now to lucid dream, and so far I've only had one. I've been trying to have more, and so far it seems that my dreams want me to stay non-lucid.
What this means is that whenever I notice an inconsistency in a dream world with real life, I think "Hey! That's weird, I could be dreaming!". At this point the odd object or event will instantly correct itself, and I'll think "Nah, it's normal. I'm not dreaming."
Has this happened to any of you? Does it mean I'm close to being able to lucid dream, or that I'm farther from it? Any tips? |

I think it means your close, you just need to get into the habit of doing a reality check everytime you question reality, rather than disregard it. Probably will work for you |

At that moment you are questioning, and whenever you do a reality check in WL, really believe you are dreaming! If you are not, the reality check and a few more seconds of "normalcy" will prove you wrong. But if you are dreaming, and really believe it...I don't think you'll be satisfied with the stuff "acting normal" momentarily. If the thought crossed your mind that you are dreaming, stay critical a bit longer and maybe do another test. Dreams are not stable, so even if the stuff went back to normal, you can bet it wouldn't stay that way!
If you are still in question mode, even if it is for a few more seconds...some other oddity will let you know your status! _________________ I'm goin' in... |

| Thank you for the help! As I matter of fact, I had a successful lucid dream last night keeping this in mind! |
