Changing bad dreams

Hi I was wondering. Has any one else done this? And if so how it looked. What happened with me was that I had a running zombie dream and it was dark. So I closed my eyes and opened them, and every thing broke into pieces and pieces until it was all white. Everything then got brought back into some thing else. I tryed it over and over until I got something I wanted.

So far the only time i have become lucid, with the exception of one time but i woke up directly afterwards, was when i was experiencing a scary dream. once i become lucid i calm down and then whatever the scary thing is goes away and i play around in my dream world or just wake myself up.

I frequently conquer nightmares with lucidity. And if I fail at doing so, I simply resort to waking myself up. It is a great thing. Most of the times I conquer nightmares, I just get superpowers to use against them. A little bit different than what you described.

Yes!! I am not sure what happens when I rewind- whether I wake between or just rewind in my mind, but I often change my dreams by re-doing part of them--and last one was a zombie dream!!! After dying I went back and changed the way we drive off and then extended the dream!! I love it!
