Hello lucidipedia,
Has anyone else realised they are dreaming, got super exited, and then woken up? Just wondering, it could've been my first LD .

Haha no worries, theres just been a lot of people lately that aren't looking on the older forum posts before they start an entire new one for a very common problem xD

Their are many techniques to avoid these premature awakenings as well. One of which is to rub your hands together in the dream. Your mind will be so focused on simulating the sensation of your hands rubbing together that it won't wake you up. I have used this technique multiple times. _________________ "Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."-Edgar A. Poe |

Sorry if I came across as mean, that wasn't my point. I should've linked to a good article we have on the site as well. So it's really my fault. Sorry about that.
