| Hello, today is the first time I've really ever tried to find others who could do what I can do. It has been difficult to find much other than instruction sites on how to try to have lucid dreams or try to fly, things I've been able to do since the first time I recall being aware I was dreaming, many years ago. I hope that doesn't come across as arrogant or disrespectful to those who are learning to do it and working hard to achieve something that I probably take for granted. I was just looking to learn from or at least interact with those who had regularly achieved awakening in the dream world and were able to freely change it. From reading the forums it sounds like there are several here and I look forward to the conversations. I know very little about the terminology used for this subject, so please be patient if I talk the long way around something. |

| Hi! I am also new and I think " natural born" also.......I have always changed dreams-altered scenes.....but only set out as a test last night to fly while lucid and realized what's been going on all these years. I love my dream world!! |

Well, I have been lucid dreaming since the age of 5, and 95% of my dreams are lucid. Does this put me in pretty much the same boat as you?
Oh, and just for the record, do you do a lot of reading? I do. Recently certain stidies have shown a realtionship between prefrontal cortex development and lucid dream rate/ease. Note that one of the ways to exercise the prefrontal cortex is through reading. Sometime I'll start up a poll and article on this. _________________ "Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."-Edgar A. Poe |

| I do read a lot now, but that has not always been the case. Though that may explain the raising frequency of the lucid dreams recently. Nice to know there are others. |

Thanks. This is certainly an intriguing correlation. About time for me to start up that thread. _________________ "Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."-Edgar A. Poe |

| I think I'm a natural as well. I guess. I've been "awake" in 100's of dreams, but only controlled a rare few. I to read a lot, but only for the last 5 or so years. I definitely had my most Lucid dreams when I was younger, but have been having book themed lucid dreams most recently. A great book series that has helped me over the last couple months with my dreams was the "Mistborn" series. Simply amazing. Basically the main character is a lucid dreamer. just she has to burn metals to activate her powers. I've never kept a dream journal, but have always remembered my dreams, but I'm hoping keeping a dream journal will help me take control more often! |

yeah I was a natural as well. Once I really really start trying, lucid dreams flow pretty easily for me. I've been quite busy for the past year or two so I haven't been able to focus much until now, so I'm still regaining my lucid dreaming footing x3 _________________ Lucidipedia, the helpdesk for your brain |
