| I always call them inception dreams. Not sure there is an actual term other than dream within a dream. |

Though in reality there is no such thing as dream within dream? I mean, technically speaking? There seems to be only here and now in a dream. You can dream about dreaming, but I suppose the difference is only in the plot of the dream, not anywhere deeper.
I also have a similiar thought that lucid dreaming might be in fact a dream about knowing that you're dreaming. Just a twist in the plot. Wanting to have it makes you dream about it. But I'm not sure if that clicks entirely, it's just a thought.
And if nobody comes up with a professional name for what you're proposing, we can coin a term on our own. I propose a 'matryoshka dream'. |

a layerd dream makes sense and ruyyash and matryoshka both seem hard to pronounce and/or hard to remember. lets call it a layered dream _________________ my current goal: fly with wings, teleport, master dream fighting skills, epic battle vs my evil side. |

Alternatively, if we follow the movie "Inception" you could say "1st-level dream", "2nd-level dream" etc.
Though generally I think we've come up with so many names that can consider ourselves stuffed. ^^ |

I`m not sure about that. I have fallen asleep in a dream, got another dream and became lucid. Had a false awakning and ended up in the first dream non-lucid
You could say double dream I suppose, but it sounds a bit weird |

You could call it a dream within a dream _________________ "I and me are always too deep in conversation: how could one stand that if there were no friend? For the hermit the friend is always the third person..." |

Inception: an act, process, or instance of beginning. Just to clarify definition.
I think layered dream seems the best fit. Because I don't think you go any deeper while dreaming within a dream. It feels like the same dream world. It would be awesome if you could just keep going deeper into the dream world. I'd surely be in limbo by now, perhaps I am! |
