I tried to ask for help interpreting a dream, but then it got locked (was it because I posted the actual dream?). I would like to know how to get help interpreting a dream of mine because it's been on my mind ever since I had it and I'd love to make some sense about it!

Well, you post a link to the dream in your dream journal and ask if people would help you interpret the dream. You then give your thoughts on it, what certain things might mean, or what the dream as a whole may have meant.
Then others can discuss that with you. Asking someone to interpret a dream solely based on a dream account is like asking someone to compute x+5, while they don't even know what x is supposed to be. We don't know what the dream felt like or what kind of person you are.
