That's my dream up there ↑

Very Happy

So this dream has been stuck in my mind ever since the night it happened ( May 25th).

The dream terrified me at the same time that I enjoyed it. I felt romantically involved with the boy (of course it sounds stupid to fall in love with "mystery dream men", but I do it every time I have a dream with a cute guy in it!)

So I'm not sure what the dream means or how to go about finding out what it means. BUT I can tell you a little about myself that might be worth knowing:
-I'm a teenager
-I've never been in the hospital for myself for any injuries or illnesses, but I've been there for others
-I love my mom
-My brother hates me
-I don't know who the boy is or who the doctor is

Thanks so much!

Thats an interesting dream o.o
Unless you felt this dream was more meanigful, it could maybe be you reenacting something you heard, read, or watched?

If not, then maybe your subconscious is trying to tell you something. It doesn't have to be the actual thing in the dream - death - but maybe sometihng you feel you might lose.

This is very interesting dream and it seems like you really enjoyed it with that guy. That is not a lucid dream.

We discuss normal dreams here as well. Wink

Well, the main elements seem death, flight and love/crush. So fear of dying or something, or losing someone, maybe? What do you think?

hmmm, no one I love is near death, but I am going back to my old school (I was at a performing arts high school and then I went to a normal school, but now I'm back to the arts school).

Hi, fascinating dream; well written too.

A few things which might help interpret the dream: could you describe these --with your own understandings-- to me as though I were an alien and barely understood english.

What is:

Surgery=
A donor=
A hospital=
A security guard=
A teen=
Crazy person=
Hide=
A maze=
To be dying=
A doctor=

Was it the two doors that you'd seen plenty of times, or the options to stay in side/go outside?

More information Laughing

Surgery= An emergency invasive procedure used to save lives
A donor= A person who donates an organ in order to save someone's life
A hospital= A health center that deals with a variety of health issues
A security guard= A person who looks out for the safety of someone or guards someone from entering a place
A teen= A person between the ages of 12 and 17
Crazy person= Someone who is insane
Hide= to conceal oneself
A maze= A network of paths and hedges designed as a puzzle through which one has to find a way.
To be dying= to be near death for a reason
A doctor= a person who cares for the health of people

DOORS: In the dream, I had seen them many times before, but in reality, I've never seen them in my life. One eventually did lead outside to my understanding.

One guess I have is that one part of the dream is communicating how you hide the hurt feelings you feel about how it seems your brother hates you, which makes you want to cry. I also speculate that the abdominal pain is linked to this relationship difficulty.

Why do you think your brother hates you? Is he older or younger? What role do you think you play in his life? What would improve the relationship between you two?
You gave information about your mom and brother, what about your father?
What gender was the doctor?

Why do you think your brother hates you? I'm not fully sure. We have our differences and he used to physically beat me.
Is he older or younger? younger by one year.
What role do you think you play in his life? None
What would improve the relationship between you two? Staying out of his way.
You gave information about your mom and brother, what about your father? He's divorced, I see him twice a month and I love him, but he wasn't a part of the dream.
What gender was the doctor? Male

Doesn't seem like a good guy, no offense. Ask your parents if he has any psychological problems? You don't seem mean enough for him to treat you that way lol.

Haha I personally think he exhibits bipolar tendencies. I'm 16 and he is 15. And no, I'm not a mean person lol Smile

It's not only to me, though I'm the only one he says "I hate you" to. But he's this way with everyone, even his girlfriend.

Well, in most cases with 15 year old males it's just the challenge of learning to deal with anger and testosterone. It can be an overwhelming and helpless experience until one become conscious of the emotion and learns to respond to situations rather than react. But that takes time and people can only go at their own pace. I see the reaction of anger and hatred as a sort of cover-up that tries to disguise some deep hurt or vulnerability. Someone feels small and vulnerable so they try to appear large and invulnerable.

So yeah, not only should you not take it personally, but as his big sister you might learn to love him despite his vulnerabilities.

I hope things get worked out between the two of you.

I feel the absence of your father in the dream is significant, but I also wonder if he was in the dream as the doctor. The doctor is the one you expected to help you, but wasn't able to.

I don't feel comfortable delving in too far into your personal life on the public forum, so I'll leave it at that. The interpretation that I can see has to do with the challenges you're facing with your brother and father. If you want to talk about it further just message me.

Other than that, I'm glad you can experience that sense of love in your dream; I think that is something special.
