Hello everybody! I'm Nigra (my actual nickname) and I registered so that I could meet other dreamers!

I first heard about lucid dreamer about teo months ago and decided I'd try to get them about one month ago. This is when I started my dream journal and added reality checks to my days. After a couple of weeks I finally had my first one earlier today! I posted it in the other thread called "What was your first dream like?" or something like that in this same section of the forums!

I hope I'll be having more of them and hope I can make some new friends here Very Happy

Hi Mr Nigra. It's nice to find more people from Argentina.
How has your LD practice been lately?

Hi there. Not a lot of activity around here huh? I've been doing fine. By the time I posted that introduction I had the first one which freaked me out (counting four fingers within a dream is EXTREMELY weird the first time). I've had many more after that... just today I had about 4 to 5 in a matter of half an hour after being without lucid dreams for about a week or maybe more.

The one trouble I'm facing is stability. Even if I rub my hands, the environment itself becomes more vivid and clear, but as soon as I want to do something (like getting out of the room, or spinning somewhere else) I false awake... I realize while in bed that it's still a dream and I try to get up and do something better but then it repeats and I find myself again on bed... Haven't had a lucid dream longer than 5 minutes for maybe a month or so.

What method are you using to have lucid dreams?

Do you know more people from Argentina interested in the topic? I could never find a local group or forum about it.

I first heard about this from a friend, but he doesn't do much (web related) about it... then I told many people about it and they all showed interest but very few stick to it... and the ones who do unfortunately don't speak english.

About my techniques, they are usually MILD (counting fingers, reading stuff and seeing if it morphs) but I have had a couple WILD recently... after I posted a few hours ago I tried to get some sleep again (had slept not enough) and I had a couple of long WILD ones... although I failed to write them down when waking up and fell asleep back again, had two regular dreams and now I don't remember very much about the lucid ones >.<

It seems I have mental blocks when it comes to taking control over them... the long ones I got today even though I don't remember what they were I DO remember I almost loose them for a moment. I just had to stick with whatever the dream came out with, without trying to change a thing or stopping soon when trying to change it so that it didn't end.

What is it mean?

Received the reply notification a couple of days ago. I've had so many more lucid dreams after my last message here and also stopped having them for the most part of the year... Had to go through some very tragic stuff recently so I'm not even attempting to have one anymore. God knows what a lucid dream might bring in this situation... no good
