I bought myself a journal.
For one month I set everything what I'm going to do every day/week.
I was so motivated and excited that I reached my month goal in just a week...
Does anyone experience the same?

Well for lucid dreaming motivation and excitement is important. If you want to LD, then you will most likely succeed.
I also had much more LDs when I was setting myself goals and regularly wrote in my dream journal. Too bad I got a bit lazy. |

| I had my first lucid dream about two months after I started my journal, but I was not writing in the journal each day, I gave up on it after a couple weeks, which I shouldn't have done... |

i found out about lucid dreaming about a month ago. it excited me soo much that i had my first ld six days after i found out about it . so far i have had 6 ld's and 3 where i had enough time to do anything but try to spin and wake up! so yeah, it also happened to me too!
(of course it helps that i have excelent dream recall and was naturally remembering several dreams a night) _________________ Dreams. The only place it can be 25 o clock. |

It would be very hard to use correct grammar in your dream, because you don't know how to in Real Life, wouldn't it? _________________ Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. |

Same here.I started using a journal and in just a couple days I was remembering TONS of my dreams. It wasn't only the journal it was more the technique of laying in bed still to recall your dreams though.
I hope to be having a LD soon!

Everybody says that if you want to become lucid, you will. I believe this mainly because, while dreaming, our thoughts control us (unless of course your lucid) so, just by the sheer will of wanting to recognizing when you're dreaming, you will achieve it.
At least that's what I happen to believe |

But a training journal gives you 10000000000 chance to get faster your goals... I think. It's maybe related to motivation _________________ Breaking into the lucid realm |

I'm so sad...lately I've forgotten about my dream journal...I guess I became more lazy But I'll start writing them back, because I can say that I remember at least 60% less of my dreams than when I used to have one...And my lucid dreams have become...well...zero...
So keep your dream journal up to date, people! It's very and truly important! _________________ When I'm asleep do I really remember how to fly...and forget how when i wake up? Or I'm just dreaming i can fly? |

What exactly do you write in your Training Journal? What you're going to try in your LDs, or what exercises (like WBTB and WILD) you're going to try?
Maybe I'll buy a training journal as well.
OR we could write a Training Journal together for people new to the forum, something like the 1000-things-to-do-topic but than in stead of trying to be funny having a serious thought. |

I have just made a training journal. I have written several short term and long term tasks. I have also written a few pages on my current status in Luciding dreaming and what I want from it.
I will write in it again next week, to see how much I have improved by and what goals I have reached.
I think when I write down how I feel and my intentions of lucid dreaming, it helps me have a clear view on what I want from it.
I have only had it a few days and I can see the benefits already. |

Well here's an excerpt of mine for an idea:
| Quote: | | I'm going to try WBTB tonight. Set the alarm for 5:30. I'm going to fly because I haven't done that in a while. |
And then the next day:
| Quote: | | WBTB didn't work. That sucks but I guess that's what I get for staying up until 3 when my alarm is set only two hours ahead... |
So I use it for a few things. To describe what I'm going to do. To reflect on what I did. And to keep a tab on my goals. _________________ ~Live lucid |
