A friend just made this play on words which seems quite apt. The Id being the uncontrolled instinctive unconscious force (if thats right).
This certainly is at play in dreams when Lucid.

When you're lucid, you control the dream, so it's not uncontrolled.
I don't think it's instinctive either, because you need to use reason to get lucid in the first place.

Please elaborate

The ID (Freudian term) being the unconscious, not the conscious self that is lucid but the dreamer behind the dream.
The unconscious is 'loosened' so to speak (as it is a part of us as well) by the ego or I who is lucid. So 'Loose-Id' could be a play on words, metaphorically speaking, connoting to the lucid state.
I'm not trying to be esoteric. I just found that interesting as this friend was in my lucid dream this yesterday. I told her on facebook and she replied with that phrase.
Anyway no big deal...

Lol, that's one heck of a lot of difficult words XD
But I kind of understand what you mean now, although it's still kind of vague. Maybe I should read it again some time, and see if I get it better than (and maybe do some study on Freud).

Your friend's got a pretty quick mind, that pun works. Does she practice loose-id dreaming? Smile
