Okay, so i needed to find a thing that i wanted to do in a lucid dream. Before, i just strived for lucid dreams on themselves, which is a bit stupid now that i think of it..
Freeskiing is my biggest dream nowadays, so i would like to do that. For motivation i could easily use some movies, 'ski porn' as they call it
But i found it really hard to think about it when getting asleep. I kept getting distracted by other thoughts. I figured that's because i haven't really had this experience in my wake life, and because i haven't been to the place where i want to decent.
Tonight i'm just going to try flying, would be very nice also! And i can try that everywhere
But do you have any thoughts on this, can you change your dream world in such a radical way? How much influence do you really have? _________________ Dream your life and live your dreams |

there's no boundaries on what you can do in your dreamworld or how much u can change it.
Some tend to be harder than others though. For instance if you would like to "teleport" somewhere it would be harder to make other dream surroundings appear in a flash than to walk through a door and imagine the place you want to go to is on the other side. |

| I read a lot about this subject, and some say walking through a mirror and imagining the new desired scene on the other side. When you come out the other end, you will be in the desired scene. Also, spinning on the spot is supposed to change the scene, but some say you often get excited about the new scene and lose lucidity. |

| when i want to change my surroundings quickly i just think that i'm in a "holo-chamber" and that everything disitergrates the re-builds the place i want to be, but everyone has a prefered technique, just try experimenting |

I agree with a few statements below...
what you achieve in your dreams is purely restricted by your imagination..
Your dreams work almost like your thoughts..
if you think about riding a bike, 99% of the time your minds eye is invisioning one of your past experiences with you on a bike, or your favorite bmxer killin the track..
in your dream, you have complete control, unless your imagination is weak..
if you can think it, it can happen.
"Tonight i'm just going to try flying, would be very nice also! And i can try that everywhere "
the last lucid dream i recall i attempted the same thing..
I found myself in the broad daylight in my backyard what seemed like 10 minutes after i layed in bed in the darkness..this was a slap in the face to let me know i was dreaming..
I walked to the edge of the trees and looked into the sky, with nothing more on my mind then flying through the trees and into the sky...
but nothing happened, i had only jumped...
I stepped back a few fight, and realized...
this is my imagination and is nothing more.
I imagined my sight zooming closer to the sun and the wind in my hair and the ground beneath my feet.. and suddenly i had taken flight, soaring above the birds..
definitely one of the most exhilirationg experiences of my life.
You control what happens. |

Changing is for me less difficult than creating an object out of nothing.
For example i've tried creating a katana so many times, by creating it out of air (just managed to create the handle of it, not the blade) or even taking it out of a painting. Making Godzilla as small as a puppet in my LD's was a lot easier.
But the easiest way for me to get an object seemed to imagine i receive it from someone! I just imagine someone is coming from behind and ticks on my shoulder and gives the object to me. That has worked pretty good for me.
Also if i get realy emotional (any emotion, sadness, anger, ... except for fear) as long as it's over the top, then i can do a LOT more, i haven't got does many times, but when i do then hell breaks loose! Then i've total control. _________________ JID (Journalism Is Dead) |
