Hey!

Do you ever have a dream, where you feel you've been to that place before?

Have you really dreamt it before, or do you think it's just a dream version of deja-vu?

Hmmm....

I have had this. In one dream I visited the finnish city of Tampere. And there was a "friend of mine" called Konsta, who I felt I'd known for 10 years in the dream. We zigzagged down a road "like we always do", sung our "usual song" and then he offered me chocolate raisins, "the ones his mom always makes". Of course this person doesn't exist in real life. And right as I woke up, I found it very hard to believe he wasn't real. Confused

In a LD I recorded today I saw a bench of which I remembered my brother telling me. When I woke up I asked him and he told me he never had a dream about a bench.

Last night I had a dream where I wandered in a picturesque small town with an unknown old man. Houses parcels were small, and in many of them there was no more house, just the garden. I understood that their occupants were dead, and when they died the house was removed but the garden remained, as a memorial. It was a little sad, but you should have seen how beautiful these gardens were...
I spotted a big tree and was attracted by it. Another house was placed beside the tree, and at that moment I thought. "I knew the old lady that lived there (and in my dream-mind I was presented a picture of the lady, working inside her house). Now, she's dead, but the house is still there".
(I'm a lot into dereliction these days... At least one dream per night from the last week is very "dusty", multiplying references to death. Well, hope will come again!).
So, in my dream I "remembered" her... But not anymore in the waking state, of course...
False memories... interresting. Taken for granted, they might set on fire the mind of aficionados of the esoteric!

My dreamscapes are so familiar to me as if thats where I really grow up.

The dreamscapes have soul. I think they are made out of emotions connected to places but shuffled and relocated into a "new" more perfect place. I think it works the same way as inspiration for an artist - an artist works like a funnel. He is the funnel that sorts out all that matters in his life and makes something that embodies those things.

Dreamscapes are embodied impressions of soulful places, significant and important to us. Places intimately associated with certain mood and atmosphere. Wink

I have had dreams where i revisited places in i've been to in dreams months ago.

The latest place i remember having been to be fore was a warehouse full of boxes. everywhere you would look there was a box. I remember in dream i had to escape from a crazed murder in there and in another dream i had to find a box that could let me escape from the dream.

I think that you have dreamscapes that stay with you forever... some are created for just that one dream and then deleted. Maybe you keep a dream scape if it meant something to you....

But there are also dreamscapes you visit only once, but remember them forever.

Yes, like this small part of the imaginary city, where I met my last love, which ended about 3 years ago. Seeing her after 3 years, even in a dream, resulted in very strong remembering everything related to this dream. Since that 3 years I'm alone, but that's another story Wink....

Bolec: no man is an island Wink
...but I know the feeling. I used to travel to imaginary cities an find the girl I was in love with at the time. It was Paris but still not. More like Praha. Sad dreams really. I never met her but I was always close. In the dreams I mean.

When one is young one take to seriously on love, thats the problem, not seldom resulting in living alone and not learning anything about love. Paradox yes, but true. At least that was the case for me.

The dreams were not lucid by the way.

Well I'm not very young, 20 years old. But I guess you're right, I'm not old he he. This dream about meeting her wasn't fully lucid, too. Anyway it was beautyful, altough I got used to living alone and it actually isn't that bad (well, somewhere inside me something still keeps telling me that it's not the time, but it will come).

Ok, I'll stop here, 'cause we're running out of topic.
