Last night, I had a dream (I am sure this is one dream, I lost some memory from the dream to prove, but I have glimpses and this distinct feeling of sureness as if I had those memories. Plus, the background when I awoke was always the same). In the dream, I became lucid several times.

Basically, I was in a room that I don't recognize. I had just woken, so I performed a reality check. To my not-surprise (for some reason) I could breathe normally. I was lucid... I thought. But nothing felt any different. The ONLY difference was that it shifted from a 3rd person to 1st person view. This lasted about... 10 seconds. This happened twice more, the second time having the same happen, and the 3rd happen at a place I can't remember. The fourth, however, I have a large memory of.

I was in my elementary school again for some reason. I went to the washroom, and tied my shoe at the door. Some girls came and raged at me for blocking their way, and as I went into class, the substitute teacher blamed me for it. I was getting snickers and having my name called mockingly. I claimed I wished that I was at my old school (High school) where I had friends. I expected snickers. Nothing. I rose my head, and saw several people emotionlessly staring at me. Now, something clicked in my head. I moved my hand to my nose to do a reality check, but as I did, I didn't believe I was dreaming. I closed my nose and inhaled.
What do you know, I'm dreaming.
I laughed, and pushed my arms outwards in an attempt to destroy everything around me. No effect. I ignored this, and went out to punch everybody I was angry at, and sought out the main girl who had pestered me. I did something I would never do IRL, and feel too embarrassed to directly say here (Although by now it should be obvious). Because of the specific action, by the end of the, uhm, process, I woke up with a little surprise waiting for me...

But aside from that, I want to know. How could I have 4 false awakenings in the same dream? Because with each dream ending, I believed I had truly awoken, but again found I was dreaming. The first 3 also ended randomly, only the fourth has reasoning for the end. I did not perform any techniques that night, or even really focus on becoming lucid.

However, I know these are half-lucids because: A- I've only had half lucids before. 7 before tonight, 11 now (I count it as 4 because with each false awakening, I lost my half-lucidity). And B- The only thing I really felt was the breathing sensation that I have IRL, and that was only when performing the RC. I never once had control over myself or felt anything except for that.

So now I REALLY want to know what's going on, because to, in one night, perform 4 RC's and only become half lucid? I REALLY want to know what's going on, and why I'm not becoming lucid. If I tried doing the WBTB (which I haven't had time for recently) is there any higher chance of actually becoming lucid upon performing the RC? Please help me out, this is getting rather stressful.

Well, I'm not sure how that works, but I didn't wake up in my own bedroom. i woke up in some place I had never recognized before for the first 2 dreams, and somewhere different for the 3rd and 4th.

You know what might help is writing out a script for yourself and looking at it every day. Something like:

1) Reality check
2) Technique to stabelize the dream (like rubbing hands or spinning with eyes open. Keep em open or it might not work)
3) Goal you most want to achieve
4) Backup goal if the other one can't be executed or doesn't work

If you really memorize this, it will also come to mind in your dream. This way you can have a more purposeful lucid, with more dream control (at least this works for me)
