Hey fellows,
Not a frequent member here, mostly because I hadn't had a Lucid Dream for quite some time, but tonight things changed!
I literally just had a Lucid Dream a few minutes ago, and I met my Dream Guide, or at least I think I did.
You can read it here.
I went straight for the computer when I woke up and made this post. How did this dream affect me? Even though the Dream Guide is my subconscious I still feel a lot more confident that I will Lucid Dream more from now on.
What are your thoughts on this?
Do you think I just met my Dream Guide? |

Well, it sure sounds like it. I have never tried to find a dream guide, and don't know much about them. Do we need one? Does everyone try to get one?
I sure would like to lucid dream more...and that is a fact. You will have to let us know if she does help you! _________________ I'm goin' in... |

I really don't know if a Dream Guide is needed, but it surely fascinated me how she accepted the fact that it was a dream. All other Dream Characters I have met seem to try to convince me that it is reality.
Another thing that surprised me about the Dream Guide was that she wasn't as predictable as the others. Perhaps it was just my imagination, no pun intended, but it seemed like she was an entity of her own.
I will surely write down any more experiences I have with the Dream Guide! |

beautiful.
I have had experiences like this and have found that it is possible to contact this "guide" or "intelligence" outside of dreams as well as in them. While you are awake, you can imagine this woman giving you information or answering your inner questions. Try it, it has worked for me.
The power and beauty you experienced in the dream can be experienced in your waking life. As you practice this, you may start to appear to others in your life how this dream guide appears to you.
What beauty you can bring the world! |

Dreamling, that's a beautiful dream...I'm very happy for your success!
I find something interesting in it. You see, I've met my Dream Guide,or Soul Guide, as I like to call it in a lucid dream, too. In your dream the eyes were shifting colors and were kind of blurry, right? In my dream, the woman I stood in front was with shifting faces. And she was little scary and angry at me, I don't know why..
Anyway, I've spoken with another person, who met her Guide in dreams more than once, and she said that she had a shifting face, too...Wondering why is that so...
I think in your next lucid dream you should try to meet her again and ask her questions. Maybe you'll get some interesting answers _________________ When I'm asleep do I really remember how to fly...and forget how when i wake up? Or I'm just dreaming i can fly? |

This is of course just a theory, but perhaps it is because the subconcious has no actual physical appearance and thus manifests itself as something that isn't constant but shifting and unstable instead?
Either way I think I it is a great first question for my Dream Guide.
"Why are your irises shifting between different colors?"
Thank you for the response. |

I tried to meet my dream guide last night by calling him, but it didn't work. Probably because I've never met my dream guide :/ _________________ And also I lost my clothes. |

I'm sorry to potentially inturrupt this conversation, but I have something directly related.
I think I met my dream guide last night too. When I became lucid, I was in semi-control, but there was a type of concience-lucidity-level, holding me back from doing dramatic things. The most I could do was change the colour of clothing, and shoot water out of my finger. When I met my dream guide, I was simply asking a dream character (who was a friend of mine) who it was, and he responded with the name Casey. I have a very good friend named Casey, so I called out her name, and she was in an area close to me. When I asked her if she was my dream guide, she said yes.
I'm mostly confused about this, is that possible? For my dream guilde to be the same body/voice/attitude as someone I know in real life? |

| i think it'd be totally possible. allot of people consider their dream guide to be manifestation of their deepest subconscious, but it would also make sense for a dream guide to possibly be someone you are close with i.e. have a strong relationship of some kind, have allot respect for them or aspire to be like them. |

I've had some problems with my dream guide. Last time I "met" her she was invisible and she wouldn't say anything. But I could feel her presence and she did sort of interact with me.
I think if I approached her with a specific question in mind, it would probably be a more eventful time spent together. _________________ It's all in your mind. |

| That is an awesome dream. It will be interesting to see if she stays the same in future dreams. I have shifting dream guides, sometimes they are male and sometimes they are female. I never get the same person although each time I meet one I always get a sense of familiarity, like I have met them before. Interestingly enough the ones that teach me the most lessions are always Asian in appearace. I've tried to ask them why they always change and so far I haven't gotten any useful responses. The latest one responded, "You have to be careful who you talk to." Whatever that was supposed to mean. |
