| So can anyone tell me, can you get to a point where a lucid dream can go on for hours? Does it take much training to get to this point? What can people expect as they progress ? |

It's not as much a matter of training as it is a matter of experience. At least that's what I think. I don't believe you can train your way to longer lucid dreams - only through experience. The more lucid dreams you have and remember the bigger the chance you'll have a longer lucid dream.
Keep in mind though that they're most likely not as long as they seem. Meaning that the brain makes it seem that long.
Some people may agree or disagree with me, but this is at least my thought on this matter. |

I agree, LaBerge said that REM sleep only lasts like an hour max. but our minds have a lag in between real time and dream time. _________________ "Sleep my friend and you will see, the dream is my reality" |

If you look in his book it says there was a slight lag in between the signals and real time. _________________ "Sleep my friend and you will see, the dream is my reality" |

| I used to be really good at having long Lucid Dreams, but i didnt do them in a while so im working my way back up. In my dream state once i had a Lucid dream that went on for over 1 Hour (i judge by what happened in it and how long it felt like). it just takes practise to be able to maintain, i remember being able to feel my body in bed i was that awake but i could also still see the dream and control it. |
