Ok ..... So i guess im new here..... But i have been lucid dreaming for about a year now.....and i have been experiencing this one problem .......... And this happens randomly.... i dont know what the cause is.... I was just hoping that someone could help me with this ..... Cuz its messing up my dreams pretty bad.

Ok ..... So im in a dream ...... And i just go with the regular storyline until i gain lucidity i guess....... Once im in control..... I can pretty much do whatever i think of at the moment...... And i guess i can keep that up and keep playing around in my dream untill ...... Well .... How should i put it?...... My dream regains control i guess....
This wasnt a problem at 1st cuz i really didnt mind....... But .... After the 4th or 5th time..... I began loosing it completely..... I would have my usual lucid dream where i have fun and boom!.... Out of nowhere a little girl comes out and stabs me..... or i get hit by a bus..... An airplane once when i was flying...... Random bad stuff keeps happening to me.... And i dont know if its a dream ..... while im in it .... Although it seems that i had lucidity seconds before in the dream..... I actually feel the stuff .... For real... I mean lyk when u have nightmares......and wake up screaming ......so .... Like i told this shit happens randomly ..... And has no connection to my life whatsoever........ So has any one else experienced this or know why its happening?

I guess that is the nature of the subconscious...I have had random things pop up in my LDs that totally ruin whatever intention I had, and they take my focus away from what I was doing. Not only that, but these things can take your lucidity away too. I guess if this happens often, try to remember the techniques that make you become lucid in the first place, in order to remain lucid and in control.

Maybe once lucid practice MILD within the dream, "The next time something negative pops up and tries to harm me, I am going to remain lucid and in control!"
Good luck Very Happy

I have done it a few times, especially when I like my dream or I did something really well, I tell myself I WILL do this again next time with no resistance. It seems to help things along, at least with the confidence needed to perform lucid skills.
