| If I learn how to Lucid Dream, will i ever be able to "not recognise dreamsigns" and dream normally ever again? By dreaming normally I mean having dreams where you are not lucid - where you think its real. |

LIke all things good in this life, lucid dreaming requires effort. Stop giving an effort and you'll go back to normal dreams a lot of the time. _________________ Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. |

Well, this is interesting actually. Before I begin, note that this is coming from a guy that has lucid dreams 95% of the time.
I have been able to induce non-lucidity just as effectively and voluntarily as I induce my lucidity.
Ex: I was dreaming, and I became lucid after noticing various dreamsigns such as malfunctioning electric lights. I wanted to have a normal dream for once, so I just willed myself into forgetting my lucidity. It's difficult to explain. I just sort of "let my consciousness drift away." I allowed myself to fade into a lower level of awareness, while at the same time thinking of nothing and having no expectations. Eventually this lack of expectations on my part forced the dream to resume it's usual random generation patterns, and my loss of awareness insured that I would pay little attention to the many peculiarities of the dream. _________________ "Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night."-Edgar A.
