So last night I had this kind of bizarre lucid experience. I randomly became lucid in the middle of the night. But I didn't notice any sort of visual stimulation. I was vaguely aware of my body asleep in bed, and I was listening to music. And I knew that this music was coming from inside me rather than from some external source. I got through about one and 1/2 songs before I sort of lost awareness. The first song was mostly drums and bass with a very soothing male voice singing over it. I was tempted to wake up and write down the lyrics because they were very good (but I wanted to hear more so I didn't and now I can't remember them). The next song sounded kind of like The Black Keys. As a whole the experience was really cool. I can't be sure if these songs are something that my unconscious is making up on the spot or whether it's something I've heard before that I just don't have a memory of. Anybody ever have this sort of experience before or did I just invent a new type of ld? |

I had one once where I heard a new song with great lyrics...I think I had some visuals, too. However during the dream I knew I should try to remember the lyrics...but I even have a real hard time remembering things that DC's say to me in dreams. (I guess that is common). This song is the same thing. I couldn't remember anything about the song. Next time I get lucid I should make a point to remember any words in the dream. _________________ I'm goin' in... |

| I had a Lucid Dream where my brother and I were painting a shack on the edge of a lake. Someone was walking off the lake towards us, and as this persons face became clear we realized it was our young 14 year old neice. This is where it gets weird. When she got there we immediatly started singing barber shop quartets, or some sort of b-bop in perfect harmony. I remembered the tones, and propably could have hummed it if I had tried to keep it fresh in my mind. It was something that I've never heard in while awake. |
