I have had lucid Dreams that were already intense as they were, but took on another layer by going to sleep in the dream. I can't remember being lucid in the dream within the dream, but I remember being there. When I woke up from the second dream I was confused as usual, but when I woke up to reality I was beyond confused. The mental effects of this kind of dream stayed with me the majority of the day. Have any of you guys experienced this. "dream within a dream"

Yes, to a degree. Rather than a dream within a dream it was more so a world with in a world. I woke up in a strange world that was more advanced than our but somehow less developed. I had to leave that world and was suddenly in another some time passed and I had to get a guide to take me through a portal in the sky that looked much like a tunnel. Everything went black and then I was back in the world that I had started in. What made it strange was the fact that I had carried and object with me from dream world 1 into dream world 2. It was a laser pen that actually burned things. I remember being able to use it in dream world 2 knowing they wouldn't know it was able to burn things. I also had it with ne when going back through the tunnel to get back to dream world 1. Upon waking I felt a very weird vie for the rest of the day. It felt to real in both worlds.

That sounds very intense... World within a world. It's very cool that you remembered some very pertinent details about your visit to these worlds. Especially taking your pen with you. Did the laser pen change at all from the 1st world to the second? (this is fun stuff to talk about) I'm glad to be here.

whenever I go to sleep in dreams I usually wake up/have a false awakening. A common wake up technique is falling asleep in dreams. Although I have had lucid dreams in which I have gone to sleep and had inception-like dreamas within dreams.

Yes, i have had a "dream within a dream". I dreamed of being a place and somewhere in the dream I went to sleep. In this new dream I became lucid and started flying. I couldn`t teleport or anything other than fly. I had a false awakening and then I continued my non-lucid dream. Then i woke up Sad

Sorry for my english...

Yes I have, twice :P

One time, I was in a dream and fainted. When I woke up, I was in the original dream.

Second time, I was at this hotel at night and I became lucid. I tried blasting my way out of there and I woke myself up(false awakening). I was annoyed that I woke up from a lucid dream. I woke up at the same hotel, just it was morning and I was stirring in bed. I got up and walked into the kitchen and ate something(didn't really taste it) and woke up for real. Then I was really annoyed because I had a second chance at becoming lucid :P

Once I did. And I was lucid when I was in that second dream. When I woke up in the original dream, I wasn't aware that I was still in a dream.
