Hey guys,
I hope everyone of you is having fun within the dreamworld.
Well, I'm still in the phase of improving my dream recall. I was one of those who think that they rarely sleep when they go to bed. With the exercises I have found out that I'm dreaming every single night. If I don't remember my dream properly, I get a fragment or a feeling.
I know soon I'm going to start practicing a particular technique to lucid dream so I would like to know your suggestions two things:
1. How much should I wait for practice the techniques? Untill I have perfect dream recall?
2. Which technique for lucid dreaming should I try first?
Thanks! |

1. start practicing techniques now. It never hurts to get all the practice you can, perfect dream recall or not.
2. For beginners I suggest WBTB (wake back to bed) as it is one of the easiest ways to induce lucid dreaming. MILD has never really worked for me as it keeps me awake but it might work for you! If you want to get a little more advanced you can go for DEILD (Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream) or even WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream). But like I said those are for experienced people. _________________ Lucidipedia, the helpdesk for your brain |

Hey ZombieBrain, thanks for your suggestions.
I think you're right about start practicing the techniques now. I mean, at first it is ok whether you recall your dreams perfectly or not. You'll be improving your capacity of having lucid dreams and once you have perfect dream recall you'll have the combo. |

I was soooo disheartened when id started out because iwas going to all these lengths to LD and just couldnt! but i had my first in under a month using the WBTB method and i cannot advocate it enough! a few tips though, dont use it every day, because personally, i get in a sleep pattern and naturally wake up at these times now, meaning i cant fall asleep so i try it every now and again during the week but not everyday. and when you wake up, watch youtube videos on LD, easy and passive while delivering the thoughts in your head (make sure your emersed in them to!) and lastly dont stay up too long or you wont fall back asleep! this is my biggest flaw! and when you do fall asleep it will be so quick you dont realise your asleep.
p.s the WILD method is super hard still havent mastered it, it was the first one i tried and i cant stop the eye movements! gahhh
good luck lucid dreaming! |

I wondered the same thing myself. In the end, I didn't really use a specific technique, I just kept working on my dream recall and making sure to always record my dreams when I woke up in the middle of the night. My first lucid was actually kind of accidental if I think about it, lol. It just happened.
Keep working on your dream recall and reality checks and when you feel like you have that down, try out all the techniques and see which ones you like most. ;] _________________ Everything you can imagine is real. |

| Incense can help you induce a lucid dream. Incense is often used as an aid to achieve astral projection and lucid dreaming. Opium incense is dream associative. Opium is a good incense to burn for any spell involving dreaming or sleep in any way, including spells meant to induce lucid dreaming or prophetic dreams. It’s also a good link removed to burn to dream and sleep associative deities such as Morpheus. |
