I have been trying to WILD for the last two nights. The first night, I basically just calmed myself to sleep without realizing it. Last night, however, I had a very strange experience.

It took me a long time to start falling asleep. I made myself aware of every single sensation my body was having as it was shutting down in preparation for sleep. I started to have subtly pleasurable sensations emanating from my chest. The best way to describe them is that they were similar to that feeling one might get when they are very happy, and they can't help but smile.

Eventually, I was aware that I wasn't really connected to my body anymore. I was mostly only aware of my mind. The only physical awareness I had was my eyes. I started getting waves of pleasure and light headedness and then something very strange happened.

My eyes started moving very quickly and erratically. Then I could see the suggestion of colors emanating from the edges of my vision. My eyes started moving more erratically, and they became very painful. I started to get a headache, and I was having to exert a large amount of effort to keep my eyes closed, because they were moving so rapidly and painfully.

Eventually, the control made me more and more aware of my body, and I came to full awakeness.

I did not move, and attempted the technique again. I decided to just let everything happen this time.

I had the same experience with my eyes, and when I exerted no control, they just flitted open after a few seconds?

Any advice?

Hey, no advice but im sorta in the same boat on the cusp of WILD front. Last night i tried Choline Bitartrate, and had CRAZY dreams. But when i woke up at 3am to do a WILD, it was super easy even though i didnt quite achieve it, but i got up to the hypnogogic stage and it really worked! until i swallowed...and ruined it all... but the point of this rant is, that everything ive been told about WILD up until i snapped out, happened, so the heavy chest, difficult to breath, patterns under my eyes, strange body feelings.. the lot.. so ill use that as a marker to go further next time.. i guess if your having a few issues and things are going weird, maybe you should try a new technique.... the WBTB is the best.. hope this helps!
