Do bad habits such as smoking cigarettes, carry over into your dream. I told a friend that I would RC everytime I smoked a cigarette, (which is often, I know, I knoe, really bad for me, blah blah blah) but she said that was dumb because its your body that craves nicotine not your brain. Is this true? Come to think about it, I dont think Ive ever smoked in my dreams and Ive been a heavy smoker for 10 years now...

First of all, your brain craves nicotine, not your body.
Second, if it's something you do often and don't think about much (thinking eating or going to the toilet), then it may not show up in my dreams. _________________ Quare? Quod vita mea non tua est. |

I used to smoke, and occasionally had dream where I was out and about, and having a smoke in places I enjoyed going, such as outside a night club or something. Didn't happen often, but it did.. When I first quit, I dreamt I was at a music festival, and ended up going off by myself because all my mates were smoking and didn't wanna be around it..
I don't know if this helps, but this is just my personal experience with smoking and dreams.. |

I have the bad habit of not being mindful all the time, so that carries over into the dream world as non-lucid dreams sometimes. |
