Hi!

I have recently discovered this fantastic lucipedia site.
Also with it , I have discovered the "SOON TO RELEASE" "Snoozon.com".
Now, after some search, I found out the release was talked about on 2012! Shocked

So, what's happened? There will be no more "Snoozon.com"?

Extra question 1 - I started to write my dreams here (almost 20 by now). Are they secure or will this site vanish?

Extra question 2 - Every time I click "MY PROFILE" nothing happens (a blank page that never loads...) Is this something on my computer or that "my profile" thing is an outdated thing or so...?

Thanks

I know how you feel. I re-discovered a Snoozon bookmark today which I believe is a couple of years old. If memory serves me correctly, I found it incredibly expensive, about the same as a US university online course. CORRECTION: It was 99 Euros for a month long course through emails up to 450 Euros for private hour long Skype sessions. Speaking of universities, University of Twente (Netherlands) is prominently displayed at the bottom of webpages here, making me suspect they are hosting this site- and perhaps will in perpetuity. On Google, the Google Map location of Snoozon in Enschede, Netherlands is marked as permanently closed. The Reddit site of Lucidopedia has one thread from 11 months ago, with the next newest being 4 years old. Strange. I also am not able to load "My Profile". I don't think anyone is actively maintaining the site. I don't think your dream log is particularly "secure," but, on the other hand, Universities are known for keeping websites up forever, so I think there's a good chance if they've kept it this long, they will continue for the foreseeable future.

So, you used to see anything on that site? Just to make sure if we are on the same page: when you do go to snooze.com all you see is "enter your email" (to get the ebook) and nothing else, right? I mean, you do see the pretty page, but you don't have any more clickable links or useful parts, right? (I already wonder if my computer could be somehow blocking that site, hence my question) And btw, I never got my ebook.
Great investigation you did there. Nice!

PART 2 of my answer (shitty forum lol)

Quote:
I don't think your dream log is particularly "secure," but,...
- you mean dreams can be robbed or something? Well, it's the internet, I am not worried about that. All I care is dreams being here and as you say "...Universities are known for keeping websites up forever" and that's good for me. Also, they have a tool for us to download our dreams (never tried it though).

Now, after writing this thread, I went to facebook. Of course lucipedia would have a facebook page. Even the bar from the corne has a facebook page. lol
Lucipedia page there is very interesting since he (sorry creator of lucipedia, don't remember your name) usually does live sessions. Check it out if you have facebook (if you don't, it's you and 3 friends of mine, and that's it in the whole world).

FINAL PART OF MY ANSWER

I tried to reach through private message on facebook, to ask him what I asked here. He did answered, but very enigmatically, I must say. He said that to get snooze going they first need to put the courses oflline... ( Confused ); I then went on asking again the rest of the questions (such as the profile thing and dreams being secure or not) and he never answered. 4 days have passed - he still may answer, I don't know. I don't want to be bothering the guy. He seems a nice guy, from the videos I have seen.

My bets are (3 options) :

1 - He went to far too early...Site, courses, blah blah when in reality he still didn't have students willing to pay (specially, as you say, for such an expensive course)

2 - The university somehow complicated this life.

3 - Castaneda wasn't joking about those realms, and the creator of lucipedia has bee kidnapped and now in his place there is a clone.

Okay, maybe option 1 or 2. Laughing

Tim Post narrated the audiobook course for about 70 Euros.
Six private Skype one hour trainings were 450 Euros. I guess this was the number that I felt prohibitively expensive. I really don't know anything about the market for online courses.

I had to google Tim Post (and still don't remember him, not even from X-men).

I agree, stupidly expensive, not even in my dreams I would pay for that (pun intended).

I don't blame them, there is money to be made, I understand...but I would never pay for lucid dream course. You can learn anything by reading books and watching videos. I have read some books, but "exploring the world of lucid dream" (laberge, of course) is all we need.

Once again, I don't blame them to try to make money, but maybe greediness it's what made them fail...
